There are many changes girls go through in their tween/teen years—one that does not get enough discussion is the decline in coordination and balance, knee instability, and the importance of strength training!

You may have noticed these things in your teen. It’s entirely normal and a result of the growth spurt and change in their body angles and composition experienced during this time.

Strengthening the muscles around their joints, focusing on biomechanics and learning good movement patterns helps!

Our girls' youth and teen programs are designed with this in mind. They are held in our empowering and supportive environment to help girls start off with a healthy relationship with exercise and their bodies.

These programs focus on utilizing the proper form and mechanics of the fundamental movement patterns, building positive habits, and learning to love what your body can do!

UPCOMING PROGRAMS

We want our kids to grow up feeling strong, confident, capable, and supportive of each other. In these classes we will focus on exactly that!

Girls in Grade 6+ will work with a trainer who will introduce them to exercise, lifting weights, and a gym setting. They will work to safely discover what their bodies can do, while having fun and supporting each other.

This 12 week program is exactly what your female athlete needs to develop strength, conditioning, and agility—essential components for athletic success.

By building strength, balance, and proprioception, athletes will stabilize their joints and improve overall body control, significantly reducing the risk of common injuries like sprains and strains. Stronger muscles and tendons offer crucial support for high-impact movements and the repetitive demands of their sport.

This program isn’t just about getting stronger; it’s about enhancing overall athletic performance and confidence both in and out of their sport!
