Owner & Certified Personal Trainer

I began personal training to empower women to embrace weight training and shift their mindset away from viewing the weight room as intimidating. My goal is to help women appreciate their bodies for what they can achieve rather than how they appear—something I personally struggled with in the past. Learning to focus on strength over appearance has been a key motivation for building this community.

As a mom and step-mom to girls, I strive to be a role model of strength, self-love, and resilience, showing them the importance of working through challenges.

Certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), I’m equipped with the education and experience to guide you in achieving your fitness goals. Whether you're new to the gym or seeking advanced programming and technique support, I look forward to helping you on your journey!

BCAK Registered Kinesiologist - Personal and Group Training

I graduated from Dalhousie University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology, where I developed a passion for understanding the complexity of human movement and the profound impact sedentary behaviour has on physical and mental health.

This passion fuels my desire to help others on their fitness journey, whether they're new to the gym, recovering from an injury, working on improving posture, seeking motivation and accountability, or training for a personal best in their next race. I'm here to guide and support them every step of the way.

I enjoy exploring different sports, like canoeing, running, and orienteering in endurance races. By continually challenging myself, I've gained valuable tools to help you feel confident and capable in any new physical activity.

Certified Personal Trainer - Group Training

Hailing from the UK, I moved to Fernie in January 2019 and now call it home. An active and sporty childhood led me to the gym at around 15 years old, and there began an interesting relationship with fitness.

It wasn’t until a knee injury in 2019 that put me on a long ACL recovery journey that I found true love for her body and fitness. Being forced to dial in on a regimented recovery program changed my appreciation for movement and my body’s strength.

Starting with my Spin Instructor Training, I realized I wanted to do much more, which led to me becoming Certified as a Personal Trainer and joining the FSC team. I am so excited by what is being created here.

Women need more spaces to learn and grow in the fitness world and find peace with their bodies, and I look forward to being part of that journey with you!

Certified Pre & Postnatal Coach

I love to move it, move it! (Thanks to my toddlers for the inspiration.)

I'm passionate about the freedom that movement brings for strength, wellness, and mental health. After having my daughter in 2018, my world changed overnight. While I adored my new baby, balancing my own needs was a challenge. Slowly, I found my rhythm, which led me to become a Group Fitness Instructor and a certified Pre and Postnatal Exercise Coach.

Now, I’m combining my love for motherhood and movement to design workouts for moms, helping them build strength, mobility, and confidence. The fun and supportive atmosphere at FSC makes it even better, and I’m grateful to be part of this amazing community!

RYT - 500 - Yoga

I discovered yoga in 2006 and was drawn to it for the calming and grounding effects it had on my life. I studied and received my teacher training at in Fernie in 2009, becoming a teacher with the hopes to inspire others on their path to discover yoga. My classes offer my students a safe, gentle and nurturing environment to explore and discover yoga through the mind-body connection.

I love to teach to all "bodies" - zoomer, boomer, pre-natal - so come out and enjoy class!
